Lydian Private Bank, including its private banking division Lydian Bank & Trust recognize and respect the importance of your personal information.
We believe the confidentiality and protection of client information is one of our fundamental responsibilities. And while information is critical to providing quality service, we recognize that one of our most important assets is our clients' trust. As a result, we do not sell or share our clients' personal information to third party marketers offering their products and services. So, you don't have to tell us not to.
Personal Information We Collect
We collect and use personally identifiable information ("personal information") about our clients in the normal course of our business to provide the products and services you have requested and to offer additional products and services that we think will be of interest to you. Personal information about our clients is collected from a number of sources, such as:
- Information you provide to us on applications and through other means, such as your name, address, social security number, employment, assets, income and other debts.
- Information about your transactions with us, such as your account balance, payment history, parties to transactions and credit card usage, and information about our communications with you, such as correspondence and other information.
- Information from a consumer report, such as information regarding your creditworthiness and credit history.
- Information from other outside sources. We collect information from outside sources regarding their employment, credit or other relationship with you or to verify information provided by you. For property values we use sources such as appraisers or other valuation services. We also obtain demographic and household information from research or database information firms.
We limit who receives personal information and what type of information is shared in the following manner.
Sharing information within the Lydian Bank & Trust family of companies. Lydian Bank & Trust provides a full range of financial products and services to you through subsidiary companies, including financial service providers such as our investment advisory and brokerage companies. All of these companies work together to provide the accounts and services you want. We may share all of the personal information we collect among our family of companies, except as limited below. By sharing this information among our family of companies, we can serve you more efficiently and make it easier for you to do business with us. For example, if you have an account with one of our companies and want to open an account with another of our companies, we may share personal information you have provided to us. This sharing could save you time in opening your new account since you may not need to furnish the same information twice.
You can limit information shared about you within the Lydian Bank & Trust family of companies. You may elect not to have information from your applications, consumer reports or other outside sources shared among our family of companies by sending us an e-mail at optout@lydianbank.com, calling us toll free at (800) 280-8186 or writing us at Lydian Bank & Trust, Attention Opt Out Department, 180 Royal Palm Way, Palm Beach, Florida 33480. Please note that we will continue to share some account and transaction information among our family of companies as permitted by law.
Sharing information with companies that work for us. To assist us in providing you products and services that you've requested or already have with us, we may share all of the personal information we collect with companies that work for us. These companies may include check printing, bill payment, operations and data processing companies. These companies might, for example, assist us in processing your transactions or mailing account statements. In addition, we may share all of the personal information we collect with companies that work for us to provide marketing and other services or other financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements. All of these companies act on our behalf, are obligated to keep the information that we provide to them confidential, and use the information only to provide the services we've asked them to perform for you and us.
Sharing information in other situations. In accordance with standard banking industry practices, we may share all of the personal information we collect with credit bureaus and similar organizations. In addition, there are certain laws that permit or require disclosure of personal information about our clients. For example, we may disclose all of the personal information we collect in connection with a subpoena or similar legal process, a fraud investigation, an audit or other examination or the sale of your loan or other account to another financial institution. We may also share all of the personal information we collect outside of our family of companies if we have your consent, such as when you authorize us to forward your loan application to one of our partners who assist in finding alternate lenders if we are unable to meet your needs.

We continually strive to maintain complete and accurate information about you and your accounts. Should you ever believe that our records contain inaccurate or incomplete information about you, please notify us. We will investigate your concerns and correct any inaccuracies.

Former clients
